Google Labs has been a source of many interesting projects and features. This time around Google Labs has introduced a service name Google News Time line. This is how Google sees it.The search box used in this recently released service is very powerful. However in order to use search box to its maximum potential, you must first select a category from the drop down. The currently supported categories include:
  • News
  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Blogs
  • Sports Scores
  • Wikipedia
  • Music
  • Movies
  • Books
  • TV Shows
  • Prizes

This interesting service also enables you to browse through time. To do so specify a date in your search, drag the time line of the results or set the time scale to days, weeks, month, years and even decades.I just used this application once and a few useful scenarios started coming into my mind in which this application can be utilized. Every one of us read news, using this service you can track what has been happening throughout the week. Similarly there are other scenarios into which this application fits in perfectly.I suggest you to use this service by yourself and identify areas into which it can be useful for you. I am certainly loving using this amazing service.
