According to Neowin and other sources, an update for Windows Mobile 6.5 or Windows Mobile 6.5 second edition (as some like to call it) is expected to arrive pretty soon. Unfortunately the release date is not known but hey, overall its pretty good news. The yet to be released update, which can also be thought of as an UI update, is expected to bring a few pleasant changes, such as an improved and user friendly on-screen keyboard (find more here), new layout and more.
