In the eyes of so many challenges that Pakistan faces, and with misery and bad news surrounding the environment in Pakistan, there is good news for Pakistanis as SUPARCO (Space & Upper Atmopheric Research Commission) gives out details of a satellite which is to be launched on 14th August 2011 and once again China is helping out with this satellite like it has been doing in the previous years.
This Satellite which would be named as PAkSAT-1R would be used for communication and networking, carrying data from tv channel distributions, tele-medicine, tele-education and ofcourse of the broadband internet. PAKSAT-1R which will be manufactured exclusively for Pakistan will be replacing PAKSAT-1
