This undesired bug occurred for users who unlocked their iPhoneusing PwnageTool 3.1.4 or later. After unlocking their iPhone viaPwnageTool 3.1.4 or higher, users saw their respective carrier name and logo disappear. This was a bug that needed to be fixed and the Dev-Team has done just that.
Users are reminded that ultrasn0w 0.92 can only unlock iPhone 3Gand iPhone 3GS with baseband 04.26.08
Those who wish to upgrade to fix the missing carrier name and logo problem can do so by using ultrasn0w 0.92 from Cydia.
